Marker Project
What is the Marker Project?
The Marker Project is a research-based learning experience where participants complete guided academic activities designed for their age group. Responses are analyzed in aggregate to help improve the quality and accessibility of educational materials.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is scheduled for 60 minutes. Participants receive a $50 gift card for every completed one-hour session. Participants may complete multiple sessions, and session lengths may vary slightly. We aim to provide flexibility to support each participant’s needs.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my session?
You can cancel or reschedule your session using the link in your calendar invite. We appreciate as much advance notice as possible if your plans change.
When will I receive my gift card(s)?
After a session: You will receive a $50 gift card within 1 business day after completing your session.
After returning materials: You will receive a $50 gift card once your returned package is received and processed (typically within 7–10 business days).
What is included in the package?
Your package will include:
- A folder with testing booklets for your session
- A Pencil
- Stickers
- Headphones
The pencil, stickers, and headphones are yours to keep. Please return all booklets inside the folder using the prepaid return label.
How do I return the materials after testing?
Place all booklets back in the folder, put the folder in the blue mailer (or another secure package if you no longer have the mailer), and use the prepaid return label to send it back.
What if my package is delayed or lost?
If your package is delayed or lost, you may still participate in your session. Please notify our team so we can assist and send a replacement if needed.
